PRESS RELEASE                                                                                               JAN. 25, 2019

                                                     86th DISTRICT SEAT

Connie Haines Hutchinson, a Herndon native who served seven terms on the Herndon Town Council (two as Vice Mayor) is running as an Independent in the Special Election on February 19th for the 86th District House of Delegates to fill the seat vacated by Jennifer Boysko's election to the State Senate.

"My experience with the legislative process at the local level gives me the background and needed to be an effective representative for the voters of the 86th District.  With all the political party turmoil that's going on right now, I think people will welcome an opportunity to support someone who will focus on the cooperation and collaboration needed to get thing done," said Hutchinson.

With the support of family and friends, Hutchinson's grassroots campaign will feature her Independent voice and her accomplishments over the years as a true public servant.
